On the 12th instant H.S. H. C.Wilson, Clerk in our Office, called upon you under instructions from us.
Solicitors for Mr Schu Kame Jong of the Government Leased Land No.2 of the Western District, Hea Ket Fong, to pay to you $200 legal currency, being the rent for the month ending 31st December 1885.
The rent for November last of the same land was paid into your Department on the 2nd of November last by Mr Peus, Kicaw, in proof of which we hold his receipt.
We will thank you to let us know if you still decline to receive the rent for December, which we now hold; and are prepared to pay you.
